Upload Cinema – Death on the Web
On May 4th (as the Dutch commemorate the dead of WO II) we looked at the way death is immortalized on the web. Yes, there was war & terror, blood & guts, but also art & poetry, impressive death rituals and lots of black humor. From 141 entries, 36 were chosen. Guest curators were: journalist Ben de Dood and poet Frank Starik who wrote this poem especially for the occasion.
